Our Story

Borrow EV began in 2017 in Los Angeles, founded by Rodrigo de Guzman with one clear goal: to make driving the latest electric vehicles easy, accessible, and commitment-free.

What started as a simple idea—flexible, affordable EV subscriptions with a luxury touch—quickly grew into a trusted model for sustainable mobility.

In 2024, Rodrigo and the Borrow EV team set out to expand that mission through a franchise program, launching nationwide in 2026 with ownership opportunities across multiple states.

With nearly a decade of experience in the electric vehicle space, Rodrigo and his team are passionate about helping others succeed in this growing industry and will serve as dedicated mentors for every new franchise partner.
